Spectroelectrochemical set up using SEC2120 and Model 3325

Spectroelectrochemistry (SEC) is aimed at the investigation of electrochemical reaction mechanism and the interface structure between electrolyte solution and electrode. Remarkable progress in this field and related technology enables SEC to be applied in wide areas. Nowadays, the relation between absorbance and potential for reversible or quasi-reversible system is theoretically elucidated, on which basis the analysis of electrochemical characteristics becomes possible for the system otherwise difficult with only the result of voltammogram.

Here, we will introduce two systems set-up (flow system and batch), for spectroelectrochemical measurement.

5	Reference electrode screw type, it is sold separately. There is three types: for aqueous solution (RE-3VT Reference electrode Screw type (Ag/AgCl) (Cat. No. 014051)), for non aqueous solution (RE-7VN Non Aqueous reference electrode screw type (Cat. No. 013850)) and for alkaline solution (RE-61VT Reference electrode screw type for alkaline solution (Cat. No. 014052))※.

※ Note:
When using with 014052 RE-61VT Reference electrode screw type for alkaline solution, please avoid the below conditions, because some contents and working electrodes have a low tolerance for alkaline solution.
