REVISION OF PRODUCT PRICES FROM APRIL 1ST (MONDAY)

BAS Co., Ltd. will revise the prices of some products from April 1, 2024 (Monday).

We have been making every effort to absorb the rising cost of manufacturing and have kept the prices of some of our products. The situation is particularly affected by the soaring prices of precious metal materials and exchange rate fluctuations, and it is difficult to do anything about it through our company's efforts alone.

Therefore, we have decided to revise the product price while striving to maintain and improve the quality.
We would appreciate your understanding as we continue to strive to provide products that will satisfy our customers.

Non aqueous reference electrode line up release

The new version for Non aqueous reference electrode is now available.

013849 RE-7SN Non Aqueous reference electrode
013850 RE-7VN Non Aqueous reference electrode screw type

These series of the reference electrode will be supplied without the internal solution, which will be required to prepare in advance.
In the Non aqueous reference electrode page, as an example, an acetonitrile (ACN) solution containing 0.01 mol/L silver(I) nitrate (AgNO3) and 0.1 mol/L tetrabutylammonium perchlorate (TBAP) preparation procedure is introduced.

New product: Model 3325 Bipotentiostat

Model 3325 Bipotentiostat is now available.

"Model 3325 Bipotentiostat", the successor to "Model 2325 Bipotentiostat", which was discontinued in March this year due to manufacturing reasons, now is available.
The Model 3325 Bipotentiostat is a bipotentiostat capable of rotating ring disk electrode (RRDE) measurement as well as general 2-electrode and 3-electrode systems, and can be used for various applications through synchronizing with external devices. The handheld size of the instrument allows it to be connected to a computer using a USB cable for communication and power supply. It is ideal for a field measurement and educational device in combination with a notebook PC. It also has a remote function for the control of the RRDE-3A Rotating Ring Disk Electrode Apparatus and SEC2020 Spectrometer system.

New product: RRDE-3A Rotating Ring Disk Electrode Apparatus Ver.3.0

RRDE-3A Rotating Ring Disk Electrode Apparatus Ver 3.0 is now available.

This new generation of RRDE-3A has improved the circuit design of the mainboard, overcoming the shortcomings of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal control of resonant mechanical noise at a specific speed. The control software upgrade adds maintenance mode operations.

It will be updated to RRDE-3A Rotating Ring Disk Electrode Apparatus Ver 3.0.

The RRDE-3A Rotating Ring Disk Electrode Apparatus update is in a final improvement stage, however at this stage of transition from the actual version to the new version, for a few weeks we will not be providing this product.

New product: GCEt Glassy carbon electrode

New type of the Glassy carbon electrode was released. For the new GCEt Glassy carbon electrode, a Teflon spacer was included between the PEEK insulation and glassy carbon disk. For the property of the material, it will avoid that the sample spreads, to get the chemically modified surface.

The SEC-C05T Thin Layer Quartz Glass cell (Cat. No. 013702) for the 013700 SEC-C05T Thin Layer Quartz Glass Spectroelectrochemicalcell kit (Pt) and 013701 SEC-C05T Thin Layer Quartz Glass Spectroelectrochemicalcell kit (Au) was renewed. The renewed cell is full transparent and it has the optical transmission position wider than the previous cell. It was changed from 5.5 mm to 6.5 mm height.

The renewed RE-1CP Reference electrode (Ag/AgCl/Saturated KCl) (013691) and RE-2CP Reference electrode (013692) do not have the side hole which was used for the refill of the internal solution and control of the internal pressure, consequently the silicon ring was extinguished.

The renewed version of the reference electrode has the insulation in polymethyl pentene, which has chemical and impact resistance, and transparency. Also, the IPPG was changed to ceramic material, to improve the chemical resistance.

Product renewed: RE-7VT Non Aqueous reference electrode screw type (Ag/Ag+)

The reference electrode for the flow cell had been sold in two types, RE-7V and RE-7VP, in accordance with the chemical resistance required. For the renewed of the product, it was summarized in one product, as RE-7VT Non Aqueous reference electrode screw type (Ag/Ag+), which has the body material in polymethyl pentene (chemical resistance, shock resistance and transparency). Also, for the improve of the chemical resistance, the liquid junction was changed from IPPG to ceramic material.

RE-61AP Reference electrode for alkaline solution makes possible to use in a high concentration KOH solution, the chemical resistance was improved.
