BAS held the twenty second webinar, it was the eleventh lecture in the field of coordination chemistry and electrochemistry, introduced by Prof. Masa-aki Haga, from Chuo University.

In this lecture, the basics of electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance, its measurement and analysis methods, and some examples such as studies cases was introduced.
Spectroelectrochemistry, which is the combination of electrochemical methods and spectroscopic methods such as IR and UV spectroscopy was introduced earlier. This time, an analytical method that combines quartz crystals and electrochemistry to detect mass changes associated with electrochemical reactions on electrodes was presented by explaining the principles, characteristics, types and theoretical and application examples.
